Service Engineer for Accelera by Cummins

Describe your potential job duties

As a Service Engineer for Accelera by Cummins, my focus will be to investigate and understand electrified bus systems while documenting and recommending appropriate corrective actions for product issues.

In what ways did the Polytechnic and/or Purdue help make you uniquely qualified for your new job?

Purdue Polytechnic allowed me to pursue my education at an accelerated pace while working full-time in industry. Throughout my degree, I had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through internships and co-ops, which deepened my capacity to grasp classroom concepts.

Who would you like to thank as you finish your time at Purdue and start your career?

My parents for their continuous support and encouragement. I also would like to thank my husband, Drew Robison, for challenging me to go outside my comfort zone as an engineer and being there for me through thick and thin.

If you had a favorite class, project, experience, or professor, what/who was it, and why?

I thoroughly enjoyed hearing Professor Mark Bridgeman’s excitement to teach us about engine systems, and to talk through his personal engineering experience.
