What made you decide to choose your specific major?
I've always loved robotics. Thinking about the way we interact with the world and the complex systems needed to make that happen really fascinates me, so being able to apply that to the wonderful field of robotics is so much fun.
What are a couple of your favorite things about your program of study?
I love the labs, and more importantly I love the people in my program.
What has been one of your favorite class projects?
The FANUC robot project. We programmed a robotic poker dealer.
What other activities are you involved in on campus?
Bechtel Innovation Design Center. Autonomous Grand Prix. Purdue Grand Prix. Purdue Orbital. Boilermaker Labs.
What do you know about your program of study now that you wish someone had told you when you were choosing a major?
It's very broad. Be open to learning new things.
What would be one piece of advice for prospective students or new Purdue students?
Find your why at Purdue. Whether it's a lab, an activity, a group. Something to fuel your purpose.
