Team 12: Waveguide Lens

This project is sponsored by:

The purpose of this project is to explore how to concentrate light using 3D printed lenses or objects. Utilizing a 3D printer will allow for the creation of various geometric shapes that will transport light onto specific power generation units. Current manufacturing processes of light concentration and capturing technology hold constraints related to time and cost. Using additive manufacturing technology allows to reduce manufacturing cost of a working unit and scale its production.
