Student Outreach

Diversity CampsDiversity Camps

The Purdue Polytechnic Institute has several on-campus programs in place designed to create awareness and excitement about majors and careers in technology. These programs are targeted to females and underrepresented populations from middle to high school. The camps/programs vary in length and are offered throughout the year. Learn more about these programs.

School Visits

Purdue Polytechnic faculty and staff are active throughout the year in visiting high schools and recruiting the next generation of technology leaders. Many of our visit programs are aimed at high schools in urban areas or where the student body consists largely of underrepresented minorities.

SPIRIT

Surprising Possibilities Imagined & Realized through Information Technology is a program designed to celebrate the impact and create enthusiasm among young women in the field of information technology. The program brings high schoolers, teachers and guidance counselors to campus to learn through fun and interactive sessions.
