PHD GRADUATE ASSISTANT AND POST DOC POSITIONS
Positions
Ph. D. graduate assistant positions and Post Doc openings with full financial support are available as early as Fall 2025 in Construction Automation, Robotics, and Ergonomics (CARE) Lab in the School of Construction Management Technology (SCMT) at Purdue University. The admitted students are expected to work with Dr. Yunfeng Chen in the general domains of human factors and technology for construction and transportation.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong self-motivation
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- M.S., or Ph.D. in Construction, Civil, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Maths and related fields.
- TOEFL (W/S/L/R/Overall: 18/18/14/19/90 minimum)/IELTS (R/L/S/W/Overall: 6.5/6.0/6.0/5.5/6.5 minimum)
Desirable Qualifications
- Solid research experience
- Publication records
- Demonstrated expertise and significant interest in at least one of the following areas: (1) Ergonomics and Human Factors; (2) Construction and Transportation Safety; (3) Building Information Modeling (BIM); (4) Optimization and Simulation; and (5) AR/VR/MR and Game .
