'The Note' wins contest; watch all three finalists
Three student-produced animated short film were featured during the Dean's Distinguished Lecture in April 2011. As part of the inaugural Student Animation Contest, a panel of judges selected the finalists from among the six entries. Audience members voted on their favorite, as well, for the People's Choice Awards. The winners were:
Open house set for Solar Decathlon home
The Purdue Solar Decathlon team will host an Open House Saturday, July 2, at the construction site near McCormick Road and State Street. It will be the first opportunity for the public to see and tour the structure. Read more.
In the News: Textbook by BCM prof available electronically
The nation's first university textbook on the subject of the demolition process is now available for reading on all e-book readers, including Kindle, Nook, and iPad devices. "Demolition: Practices, Technology, and Management" is co-authored by demolition veteran Richard J. Diven and Mark Shaurette, assistant professor of building construction management in Purdue's College of Technology. Read more.
