Brunswicker addresses World Economic Forum workshop

Sabine Brunswicker, associate professor of innovation in the Department of Technology Leadership and Innovation, was a speaker during the World Economic Forum CEO Series Workshop in June. The workshop, which attracted business leaders from around the world, focused on "Transforming business and driving growth through open innovation."

Brunswicker, who is director of Purdue's Research Center for Open Digital Innovation, was one of two panelists for a session titled, "Open innovation as a driver of business and economic transformation." She joined Jan Muhlfeit, chairman of Microsoft Europe, in discussing new models of collaboration to create growth and competitive advantage.

The World Economic Forum is an international institution committed to improving the state of the world through public-private cooperation in the spirit of global citizenship. It engages with business, political, academic and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.
