Celebrate the big game with Purdue in Anderson

Purdue’s College of Technology at Anderson is helping the Indianapolis area celebrate Super Bowl XLVI as a sponsor of the Super Celebration site in Anderson. “Purdue in Anderson will be there to show east central Indiana and our guests what we are all about in this part of the state,” said Barb Alder, director of Purdue’s College of Technology at Anderson. “Our programs are relevant to regional workforce needs, we are responsive to economic changes, and our graduates achieve results with their Purdue degree.” Beginning with the January 13 Super-Bowl-A-Thon, the Super Celebrations sites help residents and guests explore and enjoy the local communities as they countdown to the Super Bowl kickoff on Feb. 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium. Students from the Anderson location will participate in the Super-Bowl-A-Thon, and the location will host an exhibit at Hoosier Park, the official celebration site, for the 10 days leading up to the game. “Our involvement with the Super Celebration site gives us the opportunity to reach a larger audience,” Alder said. “Through all of the activities, including events for high school students, teacher and counselors, we’ll be able to show a large number of people that four-year degree programs at Purdue’s College of Technology at Anderson can help area residents make positive impacts in the region. We are a vital part of this community.”
