Clark, Black join ProSTAR team

Carrie ClarkThe Center for Professional Studies (ProSTAR) has added two new staff members to the ProSTAR family: Carrie Clark and Sarah Black.

Clark joins the team from the College of Engineering’s Professional Education (ProEd) organization (our peer organization in the College of Engineering). She has a wealth of theoretical and experiential understanding. Clark brings over 15 years of experience spanning multiple skill sets: management and supervision, operations and advising.

She will manage all activities related to the ProSTAR student experience, from the application process through graduation.

Black also comes to ProSTAR from ProEd. Her experience spans multiple areas including marketing, operations, employee training and development, and finance while employed in the banking industry.

Sarah BlackShe has overarching responsibility for those ProSTAR activities strategically aligned to outside ProSTAR, within Purdue, organizational interest.

“Both Carrie and Sarah are significant additions to the ProSTAR family and provide the backbone support for future growth through quality academic offerings. We are very thankful for having both of these highly qualified and experienced individuals on our team,” said Mitch Springer, executive director.
