Select Purdue College of Technology classes will be offered in Elwood, Ind., thanks to a partnership between the university, Red Gold and Hinds Career Center. The classes will we available to the public, including high school students, other college students and area employees who are seeking additional expertise.
“Because of this partnership, we are able to provide more access to Purdue University courses in the region,” said Corey Sharp, director of College of Technology at Anderson. “Students could choose these courses as a starting point toward a Purdue degree from the College of Technology at Anderson. These courses are also appealing to other manufacturers in the area. As a result, they can be a workforce development tool for many employers in Madison, Grant, Delaware and Tipton counties.”

For high school students, the courses could provide insight into a technology-focused career.
