Officials from General Motors were on campus Nov. 3 to host the campus-wide Chevy Volt ride-and-drive and to visit with several administrators, faculty and students. They also presented a $160,000 check to the deans of the colleges of Technology and Engineering. Of the total, the College of Technology will receive $27,000. It is earmarked for support of Athula Kulatunga's Plug-in Electric Vehicle Learning Platform in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology, evGrandPrix, K-12 STEM initiatives, and the Organizational Leadership and Supervision Employer Showcase.
