Hartman to keynote international PLM meeting

Nathan Hartman, director of the Purdue University Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Center of Excellence, will deliver one of the keynote presentations at the launch meeting for the PLM International Research Foundation (PLM-IRF) in Brussels, Belgium, at the end of January.

The PLM-IRF aims to establish a central mechanism to support international research into the most advanced future capabilities of PLM.

Hartman will be joined by Erastos Filos, European Commission official on technologies, best practices and policies for manufacturing innovation. Their keynote presentations will provide American and European perspectives of the current research scenario for PLM and will set the scene for the new global PLM research environment proposed by PLM-IRF.
