Indiana Black Expo highlights new high school, STEM education

STEM education, Purdue Polytechnic High School Indianapolis and youth development will be Purdue University's focuses at the 46th annual Summer Celebration of the Indiana Black Expo.

Information about Purdue Polytechnic High School will be available at the remodeled Purdue exhibition in the Indiana Convention Center, where visitors also can learn more about the university through several interactive activities.

Scott Bess, head of the Purdue Polytechnic High School, and Shatoya Jordan, principal, will be at the Expo Friday, July 15, from noon to 4 p.m., and Saturday, July 16, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. They are in Exhibit Hall 1, Booth 201.

Representatives from Purdue Polytechnic Institute will be among the University staff at the event as well. They will participate in events Friday and Saturday.
