Patti Morgan has been appointed student and industry outreach coordinator for the School of Construction Management Technology in the Purdue Polytechnic Institute effective July 20. She will focus on student recruitment and industry relations.
Morgan has more than 30 years of construction experience including her most recent tenure as partner and former CEO of Morgan Constructors in Atlanta, Georgia.
A 1986 graduate of Purdue’s building construction management program, she has extensive experience in general contracting and construction project management at Morgan and as a senior vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle. She led Morgan’s Female Business Enterprise as well.
“Our industry requires so much more than just theory and classroom education to truly succeed,” Morgan says. “The chance to reach out to high school students, bring them to Purdue and then mentor them through an undergraduate degree is a very exciting prospect to me.”
