Purdue to host IEEE summer school on robotics

The College of Technology's Department of Computer and Information Technology will be one of the hosts of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Summer School at Purdue University, August 8-12, 2011. The focus of the program will be  “Computational Intelligence in Humanoid Robotics”. Among the topics to be covered are machine intelligence, intra-humanoid networking, machine vision and humanoid applications. The event is planned with introductory and advanced sessions each day, to reach both the beginner with an interest in robotics and advanced graduate students and faculty. Other hosts of the program are Purdue's M2M Lab and collaborators from Kyung Hee University in Suwon, South Korea.
