Sameer Kapur, a 2022 alumnus of Computer Information and Technology, was recently named in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for 2025.

Kapur joins his fellow co-founders Gautam Ajjarapu and Vishnu Chakroborty (graduates of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign) on the list; together the three created the Glide finance platform in 2021. Per Forbes:

“[Glide] began as a digital bank and crypto app but pivoted in 2023 to provide financial infrastructure services to help credit unions modernize. Its white-label digital banking portal lets banking customers digitally open accounts and apply for loans. They have more than 15 bank customers and reached $2 million in annualized revenue in 2024. Glide has raised $6 million in funding from investors including Pear VC, NextView Ventures and Shine Capital.”

“Glide's success was made possible, in no small part, due to the incredible resources, mentors, and support network I found at Purdue,” Kapur said. “I am deeply grateful for the support and resources I received during my time on campus, which showed me that the sky truly is the limit.”
