Six College of Technology faculty and staff were recognized by Dean Gary Bertoline Nov. 4 as the most recent recipients of the Good to Great award. Recipients were:
- The four professors leading the successful implementation of the new core curriculum, including TECH 12000 (Technology and the Individual): Pat Connolly, professor of computer graphics technology; Matt Stephens, professor in the Department of Technology Leadership & Innovation; Donald Petrin, associate professor of aviation technology; and Dawn Laux, clinical assistant professor of computer and information technology.
- Mark Shaurette, assistant professor of building construction management, for his leadership during the process of garnering state approval for the department-level master's degree in building construction management.
- Mike Suckow, clinical associate professor of aviation technology, for his work in securing a new fleet of aircraft for the professional flight program.
