STEM camp creates doghouse for Humane Society

GO STEM participants build their doghouse on the final day.

Purdue Polytechnic South Bend hosted GO STEM, a week-long camp in June aimed at middle school girls to interest them in STEM subjects. Their goal was to create the optimal design for a doghouse and then build it.

At the end of the camp, the final doghouse design ended up being a combination of all four group designs. It was donated to the St. Joseph County Humane Society.
