Eligibility
Design challenge is open to current Purdue Polytechnic students.
Submission Procedure and Deadline
- Designs should be submitted via email to techcomm@purdue.edu; if the design file is too large for email, send an email to techcomm@purdue.edu with a link from your preferred file sharing service in the body of the email.
- Include “Techie Tee Design Challenge” and your first and last names in the subject line
- Submissions accepted until April 27, 2018, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
Design Specifications
- Designs must be submitted using a provided template
- Submissions must be in vector format; either PDF or zipped Adobe Illustrator or .EPS file; other formats will not be accepted
- Designs are not to exceed 15” wide and 15” high

Design submitters may choose their preference for imprint location:
- Imprint can be designed for the T-shirt front
- Imprint can be designed for the T-shirt back
- Imprint can be designed for both the front and back of the T-shirt
- Designs can include up to two solid ink colors, not including the base color of the shirt; see Purdue approved colors on our Brand Guide
- Designs must incorporate the text “I’m A Techie” and “Purdue Polytechnic” (Either mixed case or all caps is acceptable for the text.)
- All text must be outlined
- Entrants may submit up to three separate entries
Guidelines
Entries must conform to Purdue University’s (Purdue) Statement of Integrity and Code of Conduct.
All design submissions must be original. Use of trademarked content is prohibited. By entering, entrants guarantee each design is their own original creation and that no entry infringes on another’s trademark or privacy rights. Use of any image created by any other person, living or dead, is strictly prohibited.
Purdue Polytechnic Office of Marketing and Communications (MarCom) reserves the right to modify or reject any entry, in their sole and absolute discretion.
Submission of design entry grants MarCom and Purdue an unlimited, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license and right to publish, use, edit, adapt and/or modify the design in any way in any and all print and electronic media worldwide, now known or hereinafter developed, without limitation and without notice or consideration of the designer.
Upon design submission, entrants agree to forfeit all design ownership and are prohibited from the independent reproduction or sale of any submitted images.
By entering, entrants agree to release MarCom and Purdue from any and all claims, injuries, liability, losses or damages of any kind, resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation.
By submitting a design, entrants agree to the use of their names, likenesses and designs for MarCom’s advertising and promotional purposes.
Entries become the property of Purdue University. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. Decisions of MarCom are final.
