Women in Technology
Members of the Women in Technology student group develop their leadership qualities in professional and personal relationships through networking, mentoring, community outreach and charitable service projects. The meetings also incorporate a good amount of field trips, fun and food!
Women in Construction Management
Members of the Women in Construction Management student group promote the positive aspects of being a women in the construction industry through community involvement, volunteer work and career-oriented activities. Organization goals include empowering women, encouraging diversity and gaining support from both men and women in the construction fields.
Women in Cybersecurity
Members of the Women in Cybersecurity club promote women’s education, participation and leadership in cybersecurity by bringing together women from academia, research and industry to share knowledge, experience, networking and mentoring.
Women in Aviation
Members of the Women in Aviation club are part of an international chapter that provides networking, education, mentoring and scholarship opportunities for women and men who strive for challenging and fulfilling careers in the aviation and aerospace industries.

Learning Community
Apply to join the Women in Technology Learning Community for the opportunity to live near other Polytechnic majors in Meredith South Hall. You will take TECH 10100, a one-credit hour course that explores gender communication, values, challenges, and successes of women working in technology-related fields. Build friendships through study groups, social activities and more.
Sorority and Cooperative Housing
In addition to living in residences halls, Purdue students can explore sororities and cooperative housing. More than housing, sororities and cooperatives focus on scholarship, service, philanthropic giving, leadership development and sisterhood. Several of Purdue's most distinguished graduates are members of these houses!
Multicultural and Diversity-Based Sororities
Purdue is proud to be home to several multicultural and diversity-based sororities.
The Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) was established at Purdue in 2003 to serve as a governing body, creating and maintaining high standards in our culturally based sororities and fraternities. Learn more about the Multicultural Greek Council.
Historically Black Sororities
The National Pan-Hellenic Council is comprised of nine historically African American sororities and fraternities. At Purdue, all nine of these organizations are represented! Membership is based upon demonstration of moral character, dedication to community service and commitment to academic success.

As a high school student, Faith Spencer always thought she knew what she wanted to do after high school.
As someone who did well in math and science classes and had multiple Boilermakers in the family, she set her sights on a career in engineering. So it was a natural decision to take part in several summer engineering programs for high schoolers.
