Biography

Dr. Kwonsik Song is a clinical assistant professor. He is interested in bringing advanced technologies into classes to create active and hands-on learning environments. To this end, his research is currently investigating the potential of human sensing technologies, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and augmented reality in construction education to better understand learners and their interaction with the learning environments. In addition, several theories of learning as well as social and behavioral science are being applied to realize the technology-driven potential in real-world class settings. Main areas that his current research focuses on are construction safety and sustainability.
