"I'm a College of Technology alumnus, and have worked for the college for 21 of the 26 years I've worked for Purdue. I'm a strong believer in the Purdue Polytechnic Institute and of Purdue's Statewide system, and am eager to grow the South Bend location so it can continue to meet the needs of both students and the Michiana community."

Sanders served as director of Indiana Careers at Saint Mary's College from 2004-07, and from 2002-07 was assistant professor in the department of business administration and economics.

Sanders previously worked on the West Lafayette campus from 1984-2002, where he was director of undergraduate programs at the Krannert School of Management, and head academic adviser in the College of Technology, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology.
