CODO (Change of Degree Objective)
Changing your major requires an official Change of Degree Objective with the Office of the Registrar. This is initiated by the student’s current academic advisor. Each program has specific CODO requirements. We encourage students to meet with one of the Aviation Advisors to learn more about the CODO requirements for their specific programs. Feel free to email aviationadvisors@purdue.edu to contact one of them.
Requirements for CODO
- Minimum Semesters: 1
- Minimum West Lafayette Credit Hours: 12
-
Minimum Cumulative GPA:
- Students that started at Purdue prior to Fall 2024: 2.5.
-
Fall 2024 and all future students: 3.0
- CODOs are accepted on a space-available basis
- No CODO applicant may currently be on probation.
The School of Aviation and Transportation Technology accepts CODO submissions and reviews them as they come in. If a student doesn't have the minimum GPA or qualify currently for a different reason, the school will hold the request until the end of the semester and review it at that time.
