Mihaela Vorvoreanu, assistant professor of computer graphics technology and organizational leadership and supervision, was a featured speaker at the recent Lafayette Digital Media Conference 2011. Getting to know Bedrich Benes

This story was originally posted on 01/04/2011.A native of the Czech Republic, Bedrich Benes earned his master’s and doctoral degrees in computer science from Czech Technical University in Prague. After teaching computer science for six years in Mexico, he came to Purdue with his family in 2005. An associate professor of computer graphics technology, he has helped establish the department's master of science degree. Potential graduate students from around the world have expressed an interest in studying with him and assisting with his work.

She joined the faculty of the College of Technology after about 18 months at Purdue’s CyberCenter. Marshall earned her master’s and doctoral degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

He is a graduate of Northern Arizona University where he received a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology. He received his master’s degree in engineering technology from West Texas State University.
