The attendance for the conference will be kept relatively small to 100 participants, so that there can be good interactions. The intent is to bring together cognitive scientists, STEM educators, discipline-based educational researchers and learning scientists to learn and discuss how modeling and model-based reasoning come into play in undergraduate education in science and engineering. For this reason, we would kindly ask you to please apply online if you wish to attend. Ideally, we would like to receive your application the latest by June 1, and will respond to you by July 1 or before, letting you know if we can accommodate you.
Once you have been accepted as participant we will provide you further information and details about conference registration, hotel reservation, and poster sign-up (optional). This conference is generously sponsored by Purdue Polytechnic Institute at Purdue University. Thanks to this sponsor, the registration fee for the conference, which includes several meals, will be only $100.
