2020

  • [09/18/2020] The team has successfully submitted their codes for the qualification round. See Figure 1 below for the screenshots of the video where the submitted codes work for Task 1 and Task 3.
  • [06/13/2020] The challenge rules (Section 4.0 and 8.1) have been updated by the competition organizer. 
  • [04/08/2020] The competition organizer held a webinar, and Shyam from our team participated in the webinar.
  • [03/16/2020] The competition round opened and the simulation software has been released to all competitors.
  • [03/13/2020] The challenge rules (Section 8.0) have been updated by the competition organizer. 
  • [01/02/2020] The team registration has been accepted.

2019

  • [12/20/2019] The team was officially registered for the competition.
  • [11/08/2019] The Purdue-Hongik Team was formed by the research group of Dr. Byung-Cheol Min at Purdue University (SMART Lab) and the research group of Dr. Jonghoek Kim at Hongik University in South Korea.
  • [08/12/2019] The Space Robotics Challenge Phase 2 was launched (link).
