In the news: aviation maintenance practicum course

Only five students each semester are accepted into the Aviation Maintenance Practicum course offered by the Department of Aviation Technology.

The class involves Purdue students working on all 26 operating planes at the Purdue University Airport. They practice under the direction of a licensed technician.

The Purdue Exponent featured the class earlier this semester, talking to the course instructor, John Davis; the director of maintenance, Michael Davis; and student Garrett Lemanski.
