Purdue Polytechnic, the university’s college for technology disciplines, will launch 10 majors at the newly established Purdue University in Indianapolis in fall 2024.

James Tanoos, a Purdue Polytechnic professor with many years of practical expertise in the global supply chain, won the best presenter award at the 2nd World Conference on Mechanical Engineering (WCME).

Anne Lucietto from Purdue Polytechnic's School of Engineering Technology has teamed up with a wide range of researchers to investigate disparities between African American student enrollment in engineering technology compared to other demographic groups. Purdue Polytechnic and the College of Engineering celebrated the dedication of Dudley and Lambertus Halls, the Engineering & Polytechnic Gateway Complex. The state-of-the-art $140 million complex, built during the last three years, opened in January 2023. It is now home to new laboratories for the Polytechnic’s School of Construction Management Technology, School of Engineering Technology, Department of Computer and Information Technology and Department of Computer Graphics Technology, plus faculty offices and numerous labs and offices for the College of Engineering.
