Costa Rica is a beautiful paradise where building construction management students have been given the opportunity to spend a Spring Break while experiencing the culture, construction and a service project. Spring Break 2012 consisted of travel to the Poas Volcano (the second largest crater in the world), La Paz waterfalls and park (where toucans ate out of our hands) and a coffee plantation.
International Construction Management experience set in Ireland
James Jenkins, associate professor of building construction management, will lead the 2013 International Construction Management Study Abroad experience to Ireland in May. He has offered study abroad courses to Ireland since 2009, and he also participated in a faculty exchange with the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) during Fall 2009.

The globalization efforts of the College of Technology have entered a new phase. With strong growth in partnerships over the past few years, the college has sharpened its focus on strengthening and enhancing a broad array of connections with existing partners.
