Voyles: Robots' roles in society worthy of political discourse

Robots have roles in the community, and it‘s important to consider those roles during political discussions, according to Richard Voyles, professor of electrical and computer engineering technology and head of the Collaborative Robotics Lab. Robots are used in rescue situations and in extreme conditions like nuclear accidents, for example.

Voyles was interviewed in 2015 for the program “Robots In Depth.” Video from the program is newly available.
