Program Description

This study abroad is through three cities in Bavaria,Germany: Stuttgart, Reutlingen, and Munich. The core theme of this trip involves German applications of Industry 4.0 via their modern, innovative production facilities. Tours include three multinational automobile factories (Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW), Bayern Munich soccer arena, and the Bavarian Royal Palace. Collaborations with German undergraduate peers at Reutlingen University via their renown Learning Factory and experiences with world famous Bavarian culture at its most authentic are key aspects of the trip.

Monday, March 11th- Stuttgart: Porsche factory

Tuesday, March 12th- Mercedes Benz factory, train to Reutlingen

Wednesday, March 13th- Reutlingen

Thursday, March 14th- train to Munich, BMW factory

Friday, March 15th- Munich

Saturday, March 16th- Munich

Sunday, March 17th- Depart Munich for U.S.
