- Dr. Chang organized a collaborative workshop with Dr. Junsuk Kang (Professor, Seoul National University, South Korea) and Dr. Yoshiki Yamagata (Professor, Keio University, Japan).
- Forthcoming research agenda such as resilient cities, carbon footprint of buildings, and green-grey infrastructure was discussed.

- Dr. Chang presented three research works in 2024 ASCE CI&CRC conference, Des Moines, IA. "Systematic Review of Social Equity for Installing Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations", “Pattern Analysis of LEED v4 Rating System", and “Review of Metaverse Technologies to Broaden Accessibility in Civil and Construction Engineering Education"
- Dr. Chang has also served as a Moderator for "Infrastructure Systems and Engineering and Materials Design" sessions.
