Some incredible female pilots have gathered for the 2024 Air Race Classic, including a Purdue team composed of Reyna Dodd and returning competitor Morgan Mallow. Here's to cheering them on to another top ten finish for the second year in a row:

A team of Purdue Polytechnic students will be competing in the 45th annual Air Race Classic, an all-woman, daylight-only race in which race teams fly a defined course to a list of predefined airports.

Air Race Classic takes women pilots coast to coast
Two female Purdue University students took off June 9 from Purdue University Airport in a small plane for a four-day race that crosses the entire country, beginning June 16 in Concord, California, and finishing in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.
Keck, Borsa to tackle 2013 Air Race Classic
Purdue will field one of 14 collegiate teams during the 2013 Air Race Classic, which takes place June 18-21. The team will attempt to complete the "perfect cross-country" flight during the four-day event. Amanda Keck is this year's pilot, Rachel Borsa is the co-pilot, and Haley Myers serves as ground crew coordinator.

Chantel Steele and Amanda Keck, professional flight majors in the College of Technology, left yesterday (June 12) to represent Purdue in the Air Race Classic flight competition. The race starts June 19.
They will be assisted by a ground crew at the Purdue University Airport.
