Affecting the Future through Internet of Intelligent Things

The general topic of this course is the Internet of Intelligent things defined by the emergent powerful behaviors of multitudes of connected electronic devices that can sense, compute, and communicate.  The course frames the disciplinary technical knowledge with the needs and challenges of the times. Technology is a key driver of change. Technological innovation requires our design decisions to include deliberate reflection on the values they embody and the impact they can have.  This course covers the social and ethical contexts and focuses on complex networks, emergent behavior, and the tools to begin to program and implement applications for the internet of things.
