Natural Language Technologies

This course will serve as an introduction to natural language processing with the focus on current and emerging technologies and applications.  The topics will review the state of the art of natural language processing, discuss their advantages and disadvantages for computational text processing, and look at some case studies. The assignments will range from pen and paper analysis to actual computational implementations.

Prerequisites: CNIT 315 or CNIT 325 or basic programming knowledge is recommended
