Many faculty have several years of industry experience and maintain active consulting practices. Several are award-winning teachers, nationally and internationally published authors, and they actively engage in applied research activities with industry and government partners.

The bachelor’s degree in computer and information technology was one of the first baccalaureate IT programs to attain accreditation from the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET (http://www.abet.org).
