The mission of the Computer and Information Technology (CIT) Department Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) is to establish an enduring partnership between faculty, students, and industry to achieve a position of academic excellence and national prominence in information technology (IT).

    Jeannine Abele graduated from Purdue in 1984 with a B.S. in Computer Technology. After spending most of her career at The Procter and Gamble Company, she recently joined General Electric Transportation as CIO - Engine Services Global Operations based in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is responsible for all IT capabilities in support of GE's global aircraft engine service shops. She is married to a fellow Purdue alum Adam Abele and has two children.

    Michael Antonoff is a 1999 graduate of Purdue University, with a BS in Computer Technology. He began his career with Braun Consulting, a mid-size consulting firm specializing in business strategy, data warehousing, and customer relationship management. Michael spent four years with Braun working as a Senior Consultant and Team Leader specializing in Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) technologies. In 2003, he joined Guidant Corporation as a Senior Analyst in Reliability and Quality Assurance in Cardiac Rhythm Management. His responsibilities include mentorship of Intermediate and Senior Analysts, Project Technical Lead, and the administration of the Reliability Analysis Detection and Response system (for analysis of performance of Cardiac Rhythm Management devices and regulatory reporting for the FDA and BSI). Currently, Michael is the Director of Enterprise Systems at AGA Medical Corporation, a company dedicated to the development, design, manufacture, and marketing of nitinol-based occlusion devices for the minimally invasive treatment of cardiovascular defects and peripheral vascular disease.

    Ryan Green is a current Computer & Information Technology student looking to graduate in May 2016. He serves as a Student Ambassador for the Purdue Polytechnic Institute, assisting in many recruiting efforts both on and off campus. Ryan is also involved with Purdue’s Student Chapter of the Association of IT Professionals as the current Vice President and 2014 Computer Roundtable Chairman. In his many roles on campus, Ryan helps mentor and advise many of his peers on academic, professional and personal matters. Ryan hopes to pursue technical leadership roles after graduation.

    Daniel Fay is the Manager of eScience Program in Microsoft Research, where he supports academic research projects focused on utilizing computing technologies to aid in scientific and engineering research. Dan was previously the Program Manager for Project 7; a unique project that brought together a variety of academic languages and language researchers to target and give feedback on the Common Language Runtime and its multi language support. Before joining Microsoft in 1992, Dan was a senior software engineer with Digital Equipment Corporation working on OSF/1 and embedded network devices. Dan is a graduate of Northeastern University in Electrical Engineering.

    Tammy Fisher is an independent consultant and owner of A Horse to Water Consulting. Ms. Fisher has 26 years of professional experience in the Consumer Goods, Logistics, and Health Care (Payer, Pharmaceutical, Provider, and Biomedical devise) industries. She holds degrees from Purdue University (BS Computer Technology), Murray State University (MBA), and Stanford University (Advanced Project Management). She has an extensive record of achievement in Crisis Project Management, Program/Project Management, IT Effectiveness and Efficiency Engineering - bridging the gap between business operations and technical delivery.

    Mark Gackenheimer graduated from the School of Technology with a B.S. in Computer Technology is 1993. Mark began his career in systems development working for Kimberly-Clark Corporation, a leading health and hygiene company. He has been a part of numerous IT related initiatives at Kimberly-Clark including the development and deployment of a multi-lingual global desktop service platform as the senior service delivery manager for Desktop Services. Mark's most recent challenge is leading K-C's enterprise architecture strategy around Mobility and the formation of a User Centered Design practice. In addition to his management responsibilities, Mark is heavily involved in the community as the Assistant Fire Chief for Harrison Fire Rescue and is also a certified Emergency Medical Responder. He and his wife Cindy live in the Sherwood/Fox Valley area in Northeast Wisconsin and have 4 children – Ryann, Jeremy, Emma, and Ellie.

    As Global Human Resource IT Manager for ExxonMobil, Ms. Grieger leads an IT team that works directly with her HR business partners to identify strategic activities, manage the portfolio of all active projects, stewards IT performance, and provide efficient/effective enhancements for the HR business globally. Stephanie has been with ExxonMobil for 20 years holding positions within IT that cross both applications and infrastructure as well as assignments in the Controllers organization, vendor management, and Data Privacy. A 1986 Computer Technology graduate, she continues to be involved with Purdue University via campus recruiting. Stephanie, her husband (who also works for ExxonMobil) and their two children reside in Sugar Land, TX.

    HanyScott Hany, IT Division Lead - Wholesale, JDIC

    Scott Hany is the IT Division Leader of Crop Insurance, Wholesale and International Business Integration for John Deere Financial. In this role, Scott is responsible for leading delivery of systems supporting crop insurance, wholesale financing in North America, and all IT solutions for John Deere Financial outside the United States and Canada. Prior to this position, Scott has had assignments of increasing responsibility in application development and architecture for John Deere including leading the enterprise architecture efforts on programs such as John Deere FarmSight™ and JDLink™. Scott received his TOGAF™ Enterprise Architect certification in 2010. He began with John Deere as a student programmer at the John Deere Dubuque Works in 1998, then joined full time after graduation in 2001. Scott is a graduate of Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa with degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science and received his MBA from the University of Iowa.

    Professor Emeritus John Impagliazzo has supported many educational computing activities over decades. His accomplishments include eighteen books, contributions to model computing and engineering curricula, efforts to encourage diversity in the field, promoting computing ethics, and developing a history of computing. His professional services enhanced engineering and computer science education through accreditation, curricula development, conference leadership, and mentoring of colleagues.Dr. Impagliazzo represented the IEEE Computer Society on the 2004 Computer Engineering Task Force where he served as a principal co-author and as editor of the IEEE/ACM Computer Engineering Curriculum Report (CE2004). In addition, he was an active participant on the task force that produced the ACM/IEEE Computing Curricula 2005 Report (CC2005), also known as the “Overview Report”. These documents have been very influential in the development of computer science and engineering programs worldwide. Currently, he is the ACM lead on revising the CE2004 report. Impagliazzo serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine ACM Inroads and he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the SIGCSE Bulletin (a publication of the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education), positions he held continuously since 1997. He is an associate editor of the five-volume Wiley Encyclopedia on “Computer Science and Engineering”, published in 2009. Impagliazzo also championed diversity in computing education. In June of 2002, he developed a special issue of the SIGCSE Bulletin on “Women and Computing”. Impagliazzo helped to generate sufficient funds for this effort, which enabled the distribution of over 24,000 copies of the issue worldwide. Three years later, in cooperation with ACM, IEEE, and the IEEE Computer Society, he developed a special CD called “Pathways: Women and Computing” that contained a compendium of articles that had appeared in the Communications of ACM, in ACM’s SIGCSE Bulletin, and the IEEE Annals of the History of Computing.

    Tony Kobrinetz is CTO of PCTEL. PCTEL is a publicly traded company specializing in antenna's and radio system test equipment. Previously he was Vice President and General Manager of Motorola's Canopy wireless broadband products. As a seasoned technology and business professional, Mr. Kobrinetz has devoted over 30 years to the shaping of mobile telephony, wireless local area networks, cellular telecommunications and telematics. Key accomplishments include the development of a private wireless data network in the United States as well as the pioneering of a wireless local area network at 18 GHz. Mr. Kobrinetz holds numerous patents in communication components and systems. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University in Chicago.

    Timothy J. Martin – MBCP/MBCI/CERM: Director Enterprise Risk Management at Health Care REIT (HCN). As such, Tim is responsible for establishing the ERM program which serves as the foundation of their risk management philosophy. It establishes the governance structure, operating model, infrastructure and resources enabling achievement of their primary objective: to identify, evaluate and control material risks in a manner that preserves and creates value for the company. Tim has over 25 years of experience in Information Technology, is a Master Business Continuity Professional and a Certified Enterprise Risk Manager. Tim's career began as a support engineer in centralized systems – hardware and software; continuing to distributed systems, network infrastructure design and telecommunications; presently Tim focuses on risk assurance, control management, business continuity, disaster response and security. Tim is a CIT distinguished alumnus.

    Nick Miller is an Information Technology (IT) Project Manager at Eli Lilly and Company where he has been employed over the last 24 years. His current interests include project and portfolio management. He has published several papers and spoken at national conferences on the subject of IT Project Management. Nick has a BS in Computer Technology from Purdue University and holds a Masters of Project Management (MPM) from ITT Technical Institute. He is also a certified Project Mangement Professional (PMP) and certified in Critical Chain Project Management, (CCPM), Organizational Change Management and Service Management (ITIC).

    Edwina Payne is a 1986 graduate of Purdue University, with a BS in Computer Technology. She began her career with the Kellogg Company, where she had various roles in Information Management that included assignments in Latin America and the United States. In 1999 she joined Johnson and Johnson at their DePuy affiliate as Director of Technical Architecture. In 2000 she was promoted to Vice President, Information Management, where she had responsibility for Information Management strategy and management for their global operations. She subsequently moved to a Corporate role, where her responsibilities included Supply Chain application strategy and direction for the Medical Devices and Diagnostics companies globally as well as leading the implementation of SAP across their manufacturing facilities. In 2010 Edwina joined Zimmer, Inc as Vice President, Business Relationship Management, Global Shared Services and PMO. She is responsible for the relationship between Zimmer's IT organization and Operations, Finance, Legal and Human Resource departments as well as leading the IT Project Management Office.

    Dan Post received his B.S. degree from Purdue University in Computer Technology in 1986. He joined Exxon Chemical's (now ExxonMobil) Systems and Computing Division immediately following graduation. His career has progressed via several positions of increasing responsibility including: applications programmer, project leader, financial analysis, strategy and planning, supervisor/manager to his current assignment as Global Corporate Account Manager. Dan currently resides in Houston, Texas with his wife and four children.

    Ron Ramhap is a proud Purdue CNIT graduate (1985, B.S. in Computer Technology) and long-time member of the CNIT Industrial Advisory Board. Ron, Service Delivery Manager for itelligence, is an expert consultant on Application Management Services Delivery. Itelligence is the leading SAP Gold Partner providing consulting and services to mid-market customers. Ron leads AMS delivery to itelligence Strategic Accounts bringing 25+ years prior experience with Procter & Gamble, Hewlett-Packard, Satyam, and HCL Axon in IT and manufacturing systems. Ron also has significant experience in program management and project management for large efforts especially for business transformation, application implementation or update, and application integration or separation for acquisitions and divestures. He has been successful building and leading large teams of resources from multiple employers, countries, and time zones. Ron is married to Cincinnati native Mary Ann. They have three children and are very active in Church, Marching Band, and Scouting activities.

    Rick Schooler joined Orlando Health in October, 2001 as Vice President/Chief Information Officer. Mr. Schooler earned his Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Indianapolis and his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Technology from Purdue University in 1982. He is a member of various professional organizations and sits on a number of boards and committees.

    Steve Smith is the President of Innovative Network Solutions, Inc., an IT services and solutions provider for homeowners and small to medium-size businesses. Steve has fulfilled many roles in IT from Unix Engineer to CIO which have included working in various countries such as Japan and England. During his tenure with IBM, Steve leveraged his role and relationship with IBM and Purdue to introduce the first ever University program for Tivoli Systems whereby Tivoli training is offered within the curriculum. Steve is a 1992 graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Technology.

    Jeffrey Spreen earned a BS in Computer and Information Technology from Purdue in 1989. He is currently a Senior Project Manager with the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation of Madison, WI, where he manages various IT projects and provides a high degree of business analysis for his clients. Jeff's prior positions include Project Manager Consultant with Beacon Technologies, Inc. and Project Management and Business Analyst positions with SumTotal Systems, Inc., the Credit Union National Association in Madison, WI, American Girl in Middleton, WI and Exxon Mobile in Houston, TX. Jeff brings 21+ years of IT experience to the Industrial Advisory Board. He and his wife Barbara have one son and live in the Madison, WI area.

    Deborah Stidd-Schulman, Director of Systems Design & Integration for Lockheed Martin Enterprise Information Systems, is responsible for the successful delivery of software solutions to Lockheed Martin businesses and functions enabling customer achievement of strategic and tactical business objectives. During her 25 years of experience in the Lockheed Martin Corporation, Ms. Schulman has held numerous technical and managerial positions of increasing scope. Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, she was the Director of Data Processing for the City of Anderson, Indiana. Ms. Schulman has won numerous awards for her technical and leadership accomplishments including the Martin Marietta Corporation's highest Award, the Jefferson Cup, and in 2004 the Lockheed Martin Enterprise Information Systems President's Award. She holds BS and MA degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Education from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.

    Ronald Wertz is cofounder and executive vice president of Gottlieb & Wertz, Inc (G&W). Founded in 1990, G&W is a software development company that focuses almost entirely on Juvenile and Family Courts and the issues of juvenile justice. Mr. Wertz is a graduate of Purdue University, Lafayette, IN with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Technology.

    Eric Williams graduated from Purdue in 2001 with a B.S. in Computer Technology, with a specialization in Telecommunications and Networking. Eric currently holds responsibility for the technical product roadmap and successful delivery of the Server Management Suite within the Altiris product line at Symantec. His responsibilities as a product manager include functioning as the technical subject matter expert for the server management and datacenter automation market; assisting the sales teams with presenting and communicating the product features, capabilities, technological architecture, and product roadmap for current and prospective customers; working with strategic customers to architect and implement automation solutions based upon specific business requirements and use cases; and driving technical product requirements for the datacenter automation products based on customer, prospect, and market-driven needs. Eric has passion for music, as he plays guitar, drums, piano, trumpet, and has his own recording studio. He is married and has one daughter, who was born in January 2008.
