Michael Antonoff is a 1999 graduate of Purdue University, with a BS in Computer Technology. He began his career with Braun Consulting, a mid-size consulting firm specializing in business strategy, data warehousing, and customer relationship management. Michael spent four years with Braun working as a Senior Consultant and Team Leader specializing in Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) technologies. In 2003, he joined Guidant Corporation as a Senior Analyst in Reliability and Quality Assurance in Cardiac Rhythm Management. His responsibilities include mentorship of Intermediate and Senior Analysts, Project Technical Lead, and the administration of the Reliability Analysis Detection and Response system (for analysis of performance of Cardiac Rhythm Management devices and regulatory reporting for the FDA and BSI). Ryan Green is a current Computer & Information Technology student looking to graduate in May 2016. He serves as a Student Ambassador for the Purdue Polytechnic, assisting in many recruiting efforts both on and off campus. Ryan is also involved with Purdue’s Student Chapter of the Association of IT Professionals as the current Vice President and 2014 Computer Roundtable Chairman. In his many roles on campus, Ryan helps mentor and advise many of his peers on academic, professional and personal matters. Daniel Fay is the Manager of eScience Program in Microsoft Research, where he supports academic research projects focused on utilizing computing technologies to aid in scientific and engineering research. Dan was previously the Program Manager for Project 7; a unique project that brought together a variety of academic languages and language researchers to target and give feedback on the Common Language Runtime and its multi language support. Before joining Microsoft in 1992, Dan was a senior software engineer with Digital Equipment Corporation working on OSF/1 and embedded network devices. Jena Fisher graduated from Purdue in 2013 with a BS in Computer and Information Technology. She has spent all of her time outside of Purdue working for Boston Scientific. The first two years outside of work were dedicated to the iDEALinIS Rotation Program where she spent four six month rotations in different functional areas of IS on different projects and in various run support roles. After her graduation from the iDEALinIS program she took her full time placement in the Infrastructure division as the application owner for the company’s request system, an admin for the help desk system, managing a team of developers for creating request webforms, and works on other projects as a business analyst. She continues being involved on campus via campus recruiting and attending at least two home football games a season. Mark Gackenheimer graduated from the School of Technology with a B.S. in Computer Technology is 1993. Mark began his career in systems development working for Kimberly-Clark Corporation, a leading health and hygiene company. He has been a part of numerous IT related initiatives at Kimberly-Clark including the development and deployment of a multi-lingual global desktop service platform as the senior service delivery manager for Desktop Services. Mark's most recent challenge is leading K-C's enterprise architecture strategy around Mobility and the formation of a User Centered Design practice. In addition to his management responsibilities, Mark is heavily involved in the community as the Assistant Fire Chief for Harrison Fire Rescue and is also a certified Emergency Medical Responder. As a business venture manager for ExxonMobil, Stephanie is leading her organization through a transitional upgrade of their IT ERP system. She brings with her years of change management skills coupled with vendor interfaces from around the globe. Stephanie has been with ExxonMobil for over 25 years holding positions within IT that cross both applications and infrastructure as well as business assignments in the Chemical organization, Controllers organization, SH&E organization, and Data Privacy. A 1986 Computer Technology graduate, she continues to be involved with Purdue University as VP of the Industrial Advisory Board. Professor Emeritus John Impagliazzo has supported many educational computing activities over decades. His accomplishments include eighteen books, contributions to model computing and engineering curricula, efforts to encourage diversity in the field, promoting computing ethics, and developing a history of computing. His professional services enhanced engineering and computer science education through accreditation, curricula development, conference leadership, and mentoring of colleagues.Dr. Impagliazzo represented the IEEE Computer Society on the 2004 Computer Engineering Task Force where he served as a principal co-author and as editor of the IEEE/ACM Computer Engineering Curriculum Report (CE2004). In addition, he was an active participant on the task force that produced the ACM/IEEE Computing Curricula 2005 Report (CC2005), also known as the “Overview Report”. These documents have been very influential in the development of computer science and engineering programs worldwide. Currently, he is the ACM lead on revising the CE2004 report. Impagliazzo serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine ACM Inroads and he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the SIGCSE Bulletin (a publication of the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education), positions he held continuously since 1997. He is an associate editor of the five-volume Wiley Encyclopedia on “Computer Science and Engineering”, published in 2009. Impagliazzo also championed diversity in computing education. In June of 2002, he developed a special issue of the SIGCSE Bulletin on “Women and Computing”. Impagliazzo helped to generate sufficient funds for this effort, which enabled the distribution of over 24,000 copies of the issue worldwide. Three years later, in cooperation with ACM, IEEE, and the IEEE Computer Society, he developed a special CD called “Pathways: Women and Computing” that contained a compendium of articles that had appeared in the Communications of ACM, in ACM’s SIGCSE Bulletin, and the IEEE Annals of the History of Computing.Tony Kobrinetz, Vice President
Tony Kobrinetz is CTO of PCTEL. PCTEL is a publicly traded company specializing in antenna's and radio system test equipment. Previously he was Vice President and General Manager of Motorola's Canopy wireless broadband products. As a seasoned technology and business professional, Mr. Kobrinetz has devoted over 30 years to the shaping of mobile telephony, wireless local area networks, cellular telecommunications and telematics. Key accomplishments include the development of a private wireless data network in the United States as well as the pioneering of a wireless local area network at 18 GHz. Mr. Kobrinetz holds numerous patents in communication components and systems. Tim has over 25 years of experience in Information Technology, is a Master Business Continuity Professional, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and a Certified Enterprise Risk Manager. Tim's career began as a support engineer in centralized systems – hardware and software; continuing to distributed systems, network infrastructure design and telecommunications; presently Tim focuses on risk assurance, control management, business continuity, disaster response and security. John McDonald is the CEO of CloudOne, Inc. Magazine’s fastest-growing IT company in Indiana two years in a row and winner of the 2015 IBM Beacon Award, the highest honor given to a business partner. Formerly a technical sales executive at IBM for over 20 years, he is one of the founding members and on the steering committee of the 450+ member Cloud Customer Standards Council, a board member of the Venture Club of Indiana, a member of the IBM PartnerWorld Global Business Partner Advisory Council, and of the Industrial Advisory Board for Purdue Polytechnic Institute at Purdue University. John was also an original IBM Champion in 2011, an honor granted again every year since. Edwina Payne is an experienced and accomplished C-level leader with over 25 years global experience in information technology, supply chain, life sciences and the medical device industry. For the past five years she has worked at Zimmer Biomet, where she has served as Vice President and CIO since early 2012. In this role she is responsible for global IT strategic development and delivery for Zimmer Biomet. As CIO, Edwina has led the transformation of Zimmer Biomet’s IT organization, creating a global organization focused on delivering competitive advantage for Zimmer Biomet. Edwina and her team have pioneered many innovative uses of technology at Zimmer Biomet, including a global rollout of an innovative mobility program. Edwina is also actively engaged in shaping direction in the Information Technology community at large through her role on the Steering Committee for the SAP Life Sciences Advisory Committee. In 2012, Edwina was named as one of CIO Magazine’s top 100 CIOs.
Edwina began her corporate career at Kellogg Company. While at Kellogg she was promoted to several positions of increasing responsibility, including in-country leadership assignments in Brazil and Mexico. In her last assignment at Kellogg she established a Global Information Services and Support Center.
Following Kellogg, Edwina joined Johnson & Johnson at their DePuy Orthopeadics medical device unit as Director of Information Management. She progressed through a series of roles with increasing responsibility and global scale, eventually serving as a Worldwide Vice President and Program Manager of a global manufacturing deployment of SAP for Johnson & Johnson’s Medical Devices and Diagnostics sector until joining Zimmer in 2010.
Edwina earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology from Purdue. She was named a Distinguished Technology Alumna by the school in 2009, and has served as a member of its School of Computer Technology’s Industrial Advisory board and its College of Technology Dean’s Council.
