Dedication of ROTC obstacle course will celebrate donor, Purdue alumnus’ generosity
On Thursday, September 21, 2023, Purdue Polytechnic dedicated a new obstacle course for use by its ROTC programs. This course, donated by veteran and 1958 Purdue alumnus James Kasmark, mimics the demanding physical tests required for the Armed Forces' newcomers during basic training.
Col. Tunnell influences cadets, leadership with book, remarks
Cadets in Purdue University Army ROTC's Military Science IV class attended the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Tippecanoe. Prior to the reenactment, cadets studied a guide written by Col. Harry Tunnell, now Accessions Command's director of research at Fort Knox.
