Dr. Naimi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Technology Leadership and Innovation. Her teaching and research interests are in the areas of ethics, law, policy, leadership, digital transformation, AI, and technology innovation. She is also an attorney at law, specializing in the areas of intellectual property, business law and technology law. She has over forty years of professional experience in information technology management and education, having served with distinction as a professor of ethics, law and leadership a university vice president of information technology a director of computing at Harvard University, a state director of technology, a teacher and administrator in PK-12 education, and an attorney at law. She holds five earned degrees.
Dr. Naimi is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Charles B. Murphy award for Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching, Purdue's highest teaching award, Panhellenic Outstanding Professor Award, and the James D. Dwyer award for outstanding teaching. She is a Fellow in Purdue's Teaching Academy, a Fellow of the Native American Education and Cultural Center, and Purdue's Book of Great Teachers inductee.
