Joon Kang, an undergraduate student studying Supply Chain and Sales Engineering Technology, won awards for posters in two research competitions. As a Discovery Undergraduate Interdisciplinary Research Internship participant, Kang worked on research about ammonia emissions in North Carolina tobacco production. Both papers he worked on during the DUIRI program have been accepted for publication in global academic journals.
