Engineering/technology education program wins top honor
Purdue University's engineering/technology teacher education program within the College of Technology was named the nation’s outstanding program in 2012 by the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE).

Barnett named continuing lecturer at Anderson location
Lorri Barnett has been appointed a continuing lecturer of Purdue University’s College of Technology at Anderson. She will teach for the Department of Technology Leadership & Innovation.
Burris featured as one of five Equality Makers
They advocate for positive change. They seek justice and demand a level playing field.
Martha Burris, a senior organizational leadership and supervision major from Beloit, Wis., is being featured as one of 5 Students who are Equality Makers during January 2013.

Diversity newsletter to showcase initiatives, successes
In May of 2012, faculty and staff assembled to discuss our path moving forward relative to diversity within the college. The primary goal was to develop a diversity plan that provided specific actions we could undertake to continue to improve diversity in the college. We began by collectively defining what diversity means in the CoT, why diversity is important to us (value statement), and our purpose in focusing on it.
NECA stays busy with competitions, engagement
The mission of the Purdue student chapter of National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) is to explore the vast opportunities that exist in the electrical construction industry via its interaction with construction professionals worldwide.
