From curricula to teaching methodologies to real-world work experience, we continue to improve how the Polytechnic delivers education… and we have achieved dramatic growth along the way.

We are entering the holiday season with Thanksgiving, so I would like to take this time to reflect on what I am thankful for.

I recently read “Digital Transformation,” written by Tom Siebel. The book suggests that we are undergoing a period of mass extinction and mass diversification in our economy and society, brought about by the confluence of four profoundly disruptive technologies: elastic cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Digital transformation has its roots in two waves. The first wave was digitalization, with the arrival of the personal computer. The second wave was the internet.

The University’s official enrollment numbers for Fall 2019 include great news for our college: we have a record-setting number of Purdue Polytechnic Institute students.

The Lilly Endowment supported, through a $40 million grant, the joint proposal between the Purdue Polytechnic Institute and College of Engineering for an expansion of the “Engineering and Polytechnic Gateway” project that was funded by the state legislature in April.
