The Purdue University Cybersecurity Camp is the only residential GenCyber student program in the state of Indiana and the surrounding Midwestern states created for girls entering 9th - 12th grades.
Cybersecurity Camp will not take place summer 2023.

Purdue University’s Board of Trustees on Friday (April 8) endorsed a new Purdue Polytechnic Institute bachelor’s degree to be offered at its statewide locations that would allow industry partners to aid in customizing degree options to better suit the educational needs of their employees.
The Purdue Polytechnic Statewide network program would offer a bachelor of science degree in multidisciplinary technology at all of its locations outside of the West Lafayette campus.
The Purdue Polytechnic Institute will be home to one of seven new VR First labs at universities in the United States and Canada.

His efforts resulted in a 2015 Emmy Award for his company, FuseFX (founded by Purdue mechanical engineering alumnus Dave Altenau). The team won for Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Supporting Role for their work on “American Horror Story: Freak Show”. As the title may suggest, the computer graphics team created a gross mouth deformity for Twisty the Clown that had to be blended with film of the actor.
The new Plant 3 building in Anderson, which will serve as the headquarters for Purdue Polytechnic Anderson, will fill a much-needed niche in the the region’s education offerings.

Akdere, associate professor of organizational leadership at Purdue University, has been appointed to the Board of Examiners of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program of the National Institute of Standards and Technology by the U.S. Department of Commerce.
