Kristie West

Kristie West’s Purdue journey began as a pharmacy major, but after a year of classes and an internship, she learned that she needed something that was more interactive with people. She found her new home in the College of Technology’s OLS (what is now technology leadership & innovation).

Tammy Fisher

A 1984 graduate in computer and information technology, Tammy is product manager with Noridian Mutual Insurance. Fisher is responsible for leading a team to gather and prioritize customer requirements and collaboratively work with engineering, sales, marketing and information technology to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are achieved.

Keri Wright

Upon graduation, Keri Wright became a project director with Universal Asset Management (UAM) and has quickly climbed the corporate ladder. She now leads UAM as the Owner and Chief Executive Officer. Wright provides vision and strategy for the entire company, troubleshooting operational problems when necessary, and providing investment strategies and financial growth opportunities.

What factors led you to pursue a career in IT?

Yes I interned two summers at IBM; also did a work/study project at the Tippecanoe School Corporation that led to another summer internship.
