Transfer Credit
Transfer credits are earned at another accredited college or university and accepted by Purdue. The University will accept transfer credit only for work done at those institutions fully approved by a regional accrediting association of secondary schools and colleges or those whose regional accreditation designation is A/V (Associate/Vocational-Technical) when agreements with academic departments exist which specify courses or blocks of credit that will transfer into specific Purdue University degree programs.
Purdue maintains a list of evaluated courses that are eligible for transfer credit.
Ivy Tech Transfers
Ivy Tech Community College and the Purdue Polytechnic Institute at Purdue University have partnered to make it easier to transfer into Purdue after earning certain associate degrees. At Ivy Tech, you’ll complete your general education courses and some foundational technical and professional courses. Upon completion of the AS degree, many of your credits will transfer toward a Purdue technology degree in. To ensure maximum transfer credit, you must check with the academic advisor within the department you want to study in.
The Purdue Polytechnic has agreements set up for degrees in organizational leadership and other programs. Check with a Purdue Polytechnic academic advisor to find out about other Ivy Tech degrees or classes. Talk with the TLI advisor about the OL program.
