Frederick C. Berry is a Professor in the School of Engineering Technology (SoET). Prof. Berry received the B.S.E.E., M.S.E.E. and D.Engr. degrees from Louisiana Tech University in 1981, 1983, and 1988 respectfully. Recent research has focused on 1) semantic analysis of capstone-corpus 2) capstone education (Lucietto, Scott, Connor, & Berry, 2017) 3) using writing and communication assignments to improve the teaching of engineering design (Berry & Carlson, 2010) and 4) developing a flexible mobile studio pedagogy using the Mobile Studio Instrumentation Board (Millard, Chouikha, & Berry, 2007). At present, Prof. Berry works on the capstone education program for the SoET, which has 30-40 funded student projects each year.
