Danielle graduated from Purdue in 2004 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication. She loved the atmosphere, architecture, and people of Purdue so much, she decided to stick around, starting out as a temporary clerical worker until she got her first full-time Purdue position in Windsor Halls. From there, she moved to the College of Education advising office where she worked for four years. During this time, she decided to take advantage of the discounted tuition for staff and take classes toward a second Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, where she won the Margaret Church Memorial Award two years in a row for her short stories. In Danielle’s final semester, she was offered her dream job of Academic Advisor in the College of Technology, now the Purdue Polytechnic Institute. She continues to read and write in her spare time. She is also a movie buff, an animal enthusiast, and loves spending time with her family.
