Dr. Shanyue Guan is an assistant professor in the School of Construction Management Technology at Purdue University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering and Minor degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Florida, and B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Tongji University, China. Prior to joining Purdue, Dr. Guan worked as an assistant professor at East Carolina University. Dr. Guan’s research interests include but not limited to smart infrastructure and construction, structural health monitoring, Internet-of-Things, and drone applications. He has been involved with multiple research projects funded by different federal and state agencies.
