Dr. Josh Plaskoff, (affectionately known as “Dr. J.”) is Senior Lecturer of Organizational Leadership in TLI at the Purdue Polytechnic Institute and founder of the consulting company the interhuman group, inc. As one of the pioneers in the field of knowledge management and organizational learning, in 2023 he was selected as #35 in the Top 50 Most Influential People in Tacit Knowledge Management International List. In 2022, he was also attributed as one of the originators of Employee Experience. He has over 30 years of experience as a leader and visionary helping organizations, teams, and individuals reach their greatest potential and create environments of dignity and respect through cultural transformation, personal and collective growth, and learning. He has led organizational and leadership efforts in organizations such as Elevance Health, KAR Global, Emmis Communications, Salesforce, and Xerox and has consulted with many multinational companies, non-profits, and the US Government. He has had a concurrent teaching career since 2002 at Purdue, the Kelley School of Business at IU Indy, where he won 3 teaching excellence awards, the Library and Information Science also at IU Indy, Human Resource Management at University of Indianapolis, Social and Emotional Learning at WGU, and Management at Butler University. He has also published in Academy of Management Review Learning and Education, Strategic HR Review, Journal of Computing in Education, Academy of Management Conference, Southern Management Conference, and Transformational Leadership Conference Proceedings, several academic volumes, and has presented extensively at management and educational conferences. He received a BA summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from UC Davis, an MSEd with highest honors from the University of Southern California, and a PhD from Indiana University.
